The PPR is a posh desert retreat in Rodeo, NM built to the finest specification and served as the exclusive getaway for a well-known Silicon Valley Software Entrepreneur. This was a place to entertain large gatherings in the serenity and natural beauty of the isolated high New Mexican desert. This now can be your private playground in the desert of New Mexico for your friends, family, and business associates. Under new ownership, you too can enjoy a destination that was envisioned and built for leaving the rest of the world behind.

Vendors Offer Exclusive Workshops
At The Painted Pony Resort
At PPR we are fortunate to have a growing community of organizations offering specialized workshops that may be of interest to you, your family or friends. Each organization is dedicated to a specific venue and expert in their area of interest and provides excellent value**. The workshops are under their direction and control and you must contact the vendor for information and to enroll. Each organization has chosen PPR because of our unique environment and location that fits the needs of their constituents.
From Gini Lawson Art Workshop -- A NOT TO BE MISSED opportunity, with great location, great food, great instruction and warm, gifted and wonderful organizers!
Gini is an extraordinary teacher and human being, who has the knowledge and passion to impart whatever instruction is needed, while being very tuned in to the differing needs of her student. Gini offers an intellectual and philosophical approach, co-mingled with bawdy humor and many memorable "Kodak moments".
The small details that make gatherings memorable were in evidence everywhere: sprigs of lavender, hand-written notes, hugs when needed, beautifully set tables etc.
Richard is a masterful cook, who devotes himself to turning out creative, visually delightful, wonderfully tasty and regionally inspired meals. From french country breakfast buffets, delightful lunches announced by the authentic medieval bell that our version of " Quasimodo" rang to summon us from various areas of the vast property, tea-time or elaborate hors d'oeuvres and mouth-watering multi-course dinners. And always, wine and more wine, from local vintners.
