PPR’s Dude Ranch Package

It is always a perfect day and the perfect time for horseback riding!

=====================================

In partnership with Hideout Ranch we offer an exclusive horseback riding package.

PPR provides the accommodations and Hideout Ranch provides horseback riding and other services as listed below.

This package is for two Couples (4 people) for three days minimum.  $1,000.00 per night.  For more people or longer stays please contact us!

The PPR is a posh desert retreat in Rodeo, NM built to the finest specification and served as the exclusive getaway for a well-known Silicon Valley Software Entrepreneur. This was a place to entertain large gatherings in the serenity and natural beauty of the isolated high New Mexican desert. This now can be your private playground in the desert of New Mexico for your friends, family, and business associates. Under new ownership, you too can enjoy a destination that was envisioned and built for leaving the rest of the world behind.

  1. Here is what you will experience with the Painted Pony Dude Ranch option from Hideout Ranch!

  2. Bullet Horseback riding:  Hideout Ranch offers unlimited riding - morning or afternoon rides, and all day rides for the adventurous souls. We have access to thousands of miles of mountain trails, all woven into the fabric of Arizona's wilderness. Our unique location allows us to ride mountain ranges in both Arizona and New Mexico. The trailheads are a short trailer-ride away, and our wrangler will fill you in on the historic significance of your destination as you drive, watching the gorgeous Arizona landscape. Our horses are solid, experienced trail companions, and will do their best to set your inner cowboy on the trail to discovery. On a full day ride, we'll pack a delicious lunch made fresh while you're enjoying a mouth-watering breakfast prepared in authentic camp cook style.

  3. Horseback riding in NM and AZ at Painted Pony Dude RanchMeals Included:  Cowboys on the range enjoyed their meals prepared over an open fire in Dutch Ovens. Jerry Racicot, the Hideout Ranch Camp Cook, follows their tradition in everything from hearty beef stews and apple crisps for dinner to chorizo and scrambled eggs with homemade biscuits at breakfast. Part of the taste is watching him cook and smelling the taunting aromas on the gentle desert breeze.

  4. Horseback riding in NM and AZ at Painted Pony Dude RanchOther: Riders should wear jeans and hard-soled boots with a low to moderate heel. Wranglers, because the "hard seam" is on the outside, are the most comfortable jeans for riding. Hats or sunglasses are recommended, and sunscreen is a must. Light layering is best for riding up to the higher elevations.

  5. Horseback riding at Chiricahua National Monument via Painted Pony ResortPersonal Touch:  Hideout Ranch has been riding the Chiricahua Mountains for decades. We know those mountains like most people know their neighborhood streets. Our horse experience is lengthy - over forty years combined. Our horses are our focus, and riding the central activity at Hideout Ranch. We pride ourselves on matching horse to rider for the optimal Hideout experience. Riding is more than what we do, it's who we are.
